Event Report

Reuters News Agency reported the following:

DAY 1 (9th May 2003)

The first 'wave' of SKINT (members of the 1975 Selwyn Jones High School Stock Market Game Team) were air lifted in to 'liberate' Geneva Airport at around 14.50 local time (actually it was more of a 'handshake' than a 'wave'). Immediately spreading out into France, the invasion started with a rapid attack against a local hostelry involving the deployment of 'never before tested' precision devices being used for the first time, resulting in the precision 'downing' of 0.33 litre calibre glasses of Amstel beer. (Well, at least it was the first time that Agent Atkinson had tested such small glasses of beer).

Agent Atkinson also denied that his presence in France was simply about lager or related to the fact that France has the worlds second largest known stocks of alcohol.

Reports suggesting that a counter attack would be launched by enemy forces using 'non-conventional' weapons such as Pastis or Riccard failed to materialise.

Charlie's Pub at Saint Genis-Pouilly was immediately secured in order to safe guard against an enviromental disaster (such as retreating forces releasing gallons of un-refined 'Kronenberg 1664' into the urinals of the Gents Toilets. Agents Genders & Atkinson confirmed that no such uncontrolled discharges were made without being personally passed by them! - now now! that was passed and not pi..ed but I think you understand what I mean).
