Day 4 of the campaign saw the return of Agent John Genders to 'civvy street' ie. went to work leaving the remaining SKINT team members back at camp to complete final manoeuvres in the Fenière area including a stroll in the sun to Thoiry. Disapointment resulted however when they discovered that the reason for their lack of success at winning a large sum of money in the local Casino was at least in part due to the fact that 'casino' was simply the name of the local Spar shop. (Ah well back to work again tomorrow.)

Later that day, Dianne and Annette were abandoned in the centre of Geneva where they are understood to have carried out their threat to act as 'suicide shoppers' (where one rush to spend all those swiss francs that you didn't manage to spend in France). Hopefully Annette didn't follow the family technique of haggling the price 'up', and at least Dianne will have been there to hold her hand and help her safely cross the road.

Operational reasons prevent me from giving more information - well that and the fact (at the time of writing this report) I haven't heard from them since.

Such is the esteem in which SKINT is held by the liberated locals that the strike by French Flight Controllers was deferred to the following day to allow our hero's time to return to base.

Summary

In conclusion, I think we all had a great time. It was amazing to see and hear from friends after almost 30 years and better still to discover that their sense of fun and friendship hasn't dissapeared even if some of the SKINT team are now a little 'follically disabled'!.

We may not have discovered too many 'beverages of mass destruction' but we certainly looked hard!!
